The mission of Dress for Success is to empower women to achieve economic independence by providing a network of support, professional attire, and the development tools to help women thrive in work and in life

OUR VISION
Our vision is a world where women do not live in poverty; are treated with dignity and respect; and are strengthening their families and shaping their communities.
Dress for Success Des Moines is a nonprofit serving women in the greater Des Moines area by providing job search and career development services as well as professional attire for interviews. Our objective is to create lasting change by equipping women in the Des Moines area with the resources and ongoing support needed to obtain and retain jobs that bring economic stability to their lives – ultimately building skilled leaders in our community.

We work collaboratively with many other organizations, community groups, colleges, and nonprofit agencies throughout Des Moines and surrounding areas to reach and empower women. Thanks to our generous donors, all of our programming is free for women.
